STORIES FROM THE SOUTH CENTRAL SKIES
Going with Grace
Dr. John Gill, who's been flying with us since 2013, reflects on what it's like to befriend and lose a passenger to cancer after flying her 27 times ...
QUICK UPDATES FROM AFSC HQ
New NE Texas Wing Leader: Northeast Texas has a new volunteer wing leader, Rob Garrett. Rob has been flying with us since 2015 and is nearing the 100-mission mark. Learn more about him and the 1963 Cessna he flies here. And huge thanks to outgoing wing leader Terry Davis for all his great work!
Video appearance: Speaking of Rob, you can also see him, Board Director Troy Whistman, and Board Chair Wayne Maynard interviewed about Angel Flight on the aviation show "Taking Off."
Want to see more available missions in your inbox? Log into your AFIDS account, click "Account Settings" at top right, then click to edit the "Pilot Information" box. Choose a secondary wing that neighbors yours. Click the "Save" button. (And remember: the easiest way to see what missions are available at any given time is to log in to AFIDS!)
EVENTS + VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Angel Flight South Central literally would be nothing without the generous support of our volunteer pilots. We do have a lean operating budget that we need to replenish each year, though, and our 100 Days of Summer campaign helps us get to that goal.
Please help the campaign by sharing it to your Facebook page or Twitter feed.
