WAYNE R MAYNARD

Angel Flight South Central Beginnings
Wayne began flying Angel Flight missions in 2010. His first mission was a fundraising solo flight to the geographic North Pole and back, raising thousands of dollars for Angel Flight South Central. He flew this mission in honor of his brother-in-law, Dr. Jack Bolton who had been diagnosed with esophageal and stomach cancer. Following the fundraiser, Wayne transported Dr. Bolton from Lubbock, TX to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX on several Angel Flight South Central missions. Wayne has also served as the North Texas Wing Leader. In 2020, Wayne was named Volunteer of the Year during D CEO's Nonprofit and Corporate Citizen Awards event.
