YASSER ZEID

Angel Flight South Central Beginnings
Yasser Zeid joined the Angel Flight South Central Board of Directors in February 2023. Yasser took his introductory flight on 1/18/1998, and he is now an ATP-rated pilot for multi-engine land and a private pilot for single-engine land. He holds single pilot type ratings for C-510S and C-525S.

​Aviation Adventures
Yasser was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He came to the United States as an exchange student and graduated from Page County High School in Shenandoah, VA. He went to Medical School in Egypt; then, he emigrated to the United States. He trained in Bethlehem, PA, and Brooklyn, NY. He holds two Board certifications: one in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the other in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He practices medicine in Tyler, TX.

Personal Stories
He is active in the Texas Medical Association and the American Medical Association, and Governor Abbott appointed him to the Statewide Healthcare Coordination Council.
