Arkansas Regional Wing
Don Cope was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska. He served as Chief Accounting Officer for J. B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. in Lowell, Arkansas for 20 years and retired in 2011.
Don earned his pilot's license in 1975 and has approximately 3,400 hours of flight hours. He holds a commercial license with instrument and multi-engine ratings.
Don is based in NW Arkansas at the Springdale Airport (KASG) and flies a Piper Malibu M-350 and a Cessna 210. Don joined Angel Flight South Central (AFSC) in 2005 and has flown more than 120 missions. He serves AFSC as Wing Leader for Arkansas and Chief Wing Leader for the Region.
